The Friends of Natural Tunnel State Park was created in 2023 as a sub-committee of the Cove Ridge Foundation & Advisory Board. This committee is seeking volunteers from within the communities of Southwest Virginia and the Tri-Cities area to work in partnership with Natural Tunnel State Park. This organization is particularly seeking those who have experience, skillsets, or interests in event and program planning, environmental based interpretive education, maintenance and beautification projects, grant writing, bookkeeping, community networking, marketing, and fund-raising.
